About Us

David Cogdill, founder of Cogdill Wood Products

Our Story

Cogdill Wood Products started with a simple love for woodworking and making things with my own hands. What began as a passion has grown into a small, American-made business focused on creating quality wooden boxes and custom wood products.

I personally take pride in every piece we make. From selecting the wood to cutting, sanding, assembling, and finishing, I believe the small details matter. A handmade product should look and feel like it was made with care.

Whether you need one custom box or a larger order for your business, my goal is to create something you'll be proud to put your name on.

Thank you for supporting a small American business and giving me the opportunity to do what I love and build something for you.

What We Believe

Principles in the grain.

01

Heirloom Quality

Every joint, every surface, every finish is executed to last generations — not seasons. We build boxes meant to be passed down.

02

Material Integrity

We work with American black walnut and maple — sourced from sustainable domestic mills.

03

Made by Hand

No CNC mass production. Each box is cut, joined, sanded, and finished by hand proudly in the USA.

Begin your own heirloom.
